Sonam Fabiani – Stallion Empowerment Initiative

Our Team

Sonam Fabiani

Sonam Fabiani grew up in Nigeria alongside her sister, Sarina Vaswani. Sonam grew up to be just as passionate about the country in which she was raised. After leaving to spend her teenage years in London and Dubai, Sonam acquired a deep understanding and respect for cultures and communities around the world. Sonam’s connection to the culture and her knowledge of the culture urged her to establish the Stallion Empowerment Initiative alongside her family members.

Sonam Fabiani is one of the co-founders of SEI. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management at Regent’s College London. She went on to chair the Young Women’s Indian Association for four years (2008-2012) and several initiatives in London that prioritized feeding the homeless. Sonam is an artist who has worked in fashion for years. She is enthusiastic about supporting emerging talented artists who use various mediums to pursue their dreams. She is well knowledgeable on the link between fashion and culture in Nigeria and wants to preserve the local designs and techniques. In 2017, she won the 21st Century Icon Award in the “Art and Fashion” category.

Since becoming a mother, Sonam has an increased passion for helping single mothers in vulnerable communities. She believes that all mothers and kids should have food, shelter, education, and healthcare that is accessible to them.

These kids require your help!
